Instructions
1. To add water to your vaporizer, open and remove the steam unit by gripping the blue top and twisting counter-clockwise to unlock. 2. Fill the container with cool tap water to the max fill line. 3. Insert the blue steam unit back into the water container then twist clockwise and lock into place by aligning the arrow on the steam unit with the lock symbol. 4. Place your Vicks Vaporizer on a firm, level surface at least twelve inches from the wall. Be sure it is out of the reach of children and pets. 5. For added relief and soothing vapors, insert up to 2 VapoPads into the slots or add Vicks VapoSteam into the medicine cup. 6. If your vaporizer fails to steam after 10-15 minutes, you may have low mineral content in your water. For locations where tap water has low to moderate mineral content, add 1 to 2 pinches (1/8 teaspoon) of ordinary table salt to the water and mix thoroughly. After 10 minutes, if your vaporizer still does not product steam, add another pinch or 2 of salt.
